Mayor and Standing Committee Chairman inaugurated newly erected passage to disinfect person or vehicle carrying goods or passengers/patient at Hindu Rao Hospital

Mayor of North Delhi, Mr Avtar Singh and Chairman Standing Committee, Mr Jai Prakash today inaugurated the newly erected passage to disinfect person or vehicle carrying goods or passengers/patient which enters Hindu Rao Hospital in presence of senior officials and doctors of the hospital. In this passage, sanitization is in very fine form like mist which covers most of the part/ area. Nobody can escape this as it is developed as passage covering complete right of way leaving no space. This is an important step to check spread of Corona virus Covid19. This project was designed by public health department.
On the occasion Mayor, Mr. Avtar Singh said that this tunnel is a biggest achievement for North Delhi Municipal Corporation in this pandemic situation. He said that any person or vehicle which goes through this passage would get disinfected. He said that North DMC is working hard to contain the spread of Coronavirus.
Standing Committee Chairman, Mr. Jai Prakash said that North DMC is taking all measures to curb COVID-19. He said that to deal with the global health disaster like Corona virus, we all have to stand firm and only then we can defeat it. He said that the corporation is working on three main points like Sanitation, sanitization and social distance to eliminate the corona virus. He said that today the whole world is struggling with this epidemic which needs to be eradicated as soon as possible.
