‘GADDIBAAZI’ CASE: METRO POLICE ARREST ACCUSED FROM BAWANA, RECOVER NOTHING MOBILE PHONE


Special Staff, Metro and PS Nehru Place Metro team jointly crack case; search on for other accused

New Delhi: In a significant breakthrough in a ‘Gaddibaazi’ case reported at Nehru Place Metro Police Station, a joint team of Special Staff, Metro and PS Nehru Place Metro has arrested one accused and recovered the complainant’s Nothing mobile phone.

According to police, a complaint was received at PS Nehru Place Metro on August 27, 2026, alleging that the complainant was induced and deceived by certain persons, who subsequently took away his Nothing mobile phone.

Following the complaint, FIR No. 0011/2026 dated 27.08.2026 under Sections 318(4)/3(5) BNS was registered.

ACCUSED ARRESTED FROM BAWANA

Taking the matter seriously, a joint police team was constituted to identify the persons involved, trace their whereabouts and recover the case property.

The team conducted field enquiries, developed local intelligence and verified available leads. After sustained efforts, the whereabouts of one of the accused were traced.

On August 31, 2026, the police team apprehended the accused from Bawana while he was allegedly attempting to leave his residence.

The accused has been identified as Allauddin, son of Kurban, resident of E-373 & E-2200, JJ Colony, Bawana, Delhi, aged 24 years.

NOTHING MOBILE PHONE RECOVERED

During the apprehension, the police recovered one Nothing mobile phone allegedly belonging to the complainant.

The recovery of the mobile phone has been described by police as an important breakthrough in the investigation.

POLICE DEVELOPED LOCAL INTELLIGENCE

Immediately after registration of the case, the police team started working on available leads. Field enquiries were conducted and local intelligence was developed to establish the identity and whereabouts of the accused.

The teams of Special Staff, Metro and PS Nehru Place Metro maintained close coordination and worked continuously to trace the suspects.

SEARCH FOR CO-ACCUSED CONTINUES

Further investigation is being carried out by PS Nehru Place Metro.

Police teams are making efforts to identify and apprehend the other persons allegedly involved in the case, recover the remaining case property and ascertain the individual roles of all suspects.

Further legal action will be taken against those found involved in the case as per law.
