Former Union Minister Mr Vijay Goel met the mayors at Dharna site to support them

 

Former Union Minister, Mr. Vijay Goel today met North Delhi Mayor Mr. Jai Prakash South Delhi, Mayor Ms. Anamika Mithilesh and East Delhi Mayor Mr. Nirmal Jain at the Dharna site outside the Chief Minister’s residence to support them.

 

Mr. Vijay Goel said that three mayors of Delhi have been sitting on dharna for the last 12 days and indefinite hunger strike for two days and are fighting for the rights of two lakh employees working in the Municipal Corporation. He said that citizens of the entire Delhi are standing with the mayors in this fight.

 

North Delhi Mayor Mr. Jai Prakash said that for the last 12 days we have been sitting on a dharna outside the residence of the Chief Minister demanding release of outstanding dues of all three corporations but the Chief Minister of Delhi neither tried to meet us nor he is ready to listen to us.

He said that till the Chief Minister of Delhi, Mr. Arvind Kejriwal does not clear the dues of the corporations; we will continue to sit on the dharna and indefinite hunger strike outside his residence.
