DPCC president Shri Devender Yadav welcomes many AAP leaders and workers into Delhi Congress

 

NEW DELHI, October 24, 2024—Aam Aadmi Party leader from North East Delhi Islam Malik, along with a large number of his supporters, accompanied by ex-MLA Shri Hassan Ahmed and former DPCC vice-president Shri Ali Mehndi, today joined the Delhi Congress in the presence of Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Shri Devender Yadav, who gave them the Congress scarfs to welcome them into the party fold.

 

Shri Devender Yadav said that with the joining of Shri Islam Mali, Congress party will gain strength not only among the Muslim community, but also in the North East Delhi Assembly as a whole  as Shri Malik wields  considerable influence in the area.

 

Shri Devender Yadav also welcomed AAP’s Assembly secretary Praveen Sonkar into the Congress family.
