Smiling faces greet Delhi Nyay Yatra everywhere—People pin hope on the Congress to save them from their present plight, injustice and provide them a secure future, better life—Devender Yadav

NEW DELHI, November 10, 2024—Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Shri Devender Yadav said that he was delighted to see the smiling faces of thousands of common people everywhere when the Delhi Nyay Yatra passed through four Assembly segments on Day-3 as people now feel reassured that Congress would return to power, and all the misery heaped on them over the past 10 years of misrule by the Kejriwal Government will come to an end in another three months. The Yatra today covered four Assembly segments of Sadar Bazar, Tri Nagar, Moti Nagar and Wazirpur. The Yatra  began from the InderLok Police Station after the Congress workers, volunteers and public Assembled at Milan Cinema, Moti Nagar, and concluded at Wazirpur Village Chaupal.

Shri Devender Yadav appealed to the people to associate with the Congress to bring change, and throw out those who ruined the Capital with corruption, inaction and inefficiency as they only mouthed lies without doing any work for the  welfare of the people, or the development of the city. He said that the theme song of the Yatra had made great impact among the people as it fully exposes the corruption and illegal actions of the Kejriwal Government. He said that it was disturbing to hear the woes of unemployed youth, daily wage earners, petty shopkeepers, auto rickshaw drivers and every underprivileged section of people he had interacted with, as  life for a majority of people  had become an existential crisis under the Kejriwal Government.

Shri Devender Yadav, who offered his prayers at the Inderlok Gurudwara, said that the month-long Yatra, which will conclude on December 4, 2024 will pass through all the 70 Assemblies in the Capital. He said that the Yatra will enlighten the public  about the unfulfilled promises and corruption of the Kejriwal Government and  BJP, as they have conspired to ruin the green and clean world class city left behind by the Congress Government after 15 years of development-driven welfare governance.

Shri Devender Yadav said that thousands of common people willingly joined the Nyay Yatra in all the four Assembly constituencies  today to drive home the point that people want change now, and they feel that their future would be safe and secure only under a Congress Government, and not in the hands of the corrupt Kejriwal Government and the BJP, who wasted their time in shadow boxing without addressing the many problems dogging the people, like unemployment, price rise, the devastated condition of the public infrastructure,  broken roads, water shortage, air and water pollution and the totally disturbed public transport system, compelling more and more people to depend on private vehicles for commuting, causing immense spike in the  already “very poor condition” of the air quality.

People want Congress back in power as they are fed up with air and water pollution, garbage accumulation, dilapidated infrastructure etc—AAP lets down people both in Delhi Government and MCD--Devender Yadav

NEW DELHI, November 11, 2024—Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Shri Devender Yadav said that the citizens  of Delhi have decided to make big changes in 2025 by rejecting  the Aam Aadmi Party and the BJP to bring back Congress to power. He said that the slogan “Dilli Ki Lalkar—Chahiye Congress Sarkar”, has been resonating among the people throughout the Yatra route. He said that the Nyay Yatra was to get justice for the people from the corruption and  misrule of the Aam Aadmi Party and BJP. He said that Congress will not rest content till it reaches the destination of success by removing all the obstacles.

“Delhi is heading for big change--People will reject AAP and BJP”,  Shri Devender Yadav said, during the fourth day of the Delhi Nyay Yatra, which started from Haiderpur Village, Shalimar Bagh and concluded at Gujranwala Town, Model Town, with thousands of people joining the yatra. TheNyay Yatra today covered the Assembly segments of Badli, Shalimar Bagh, Adarsh Nagar and Model Town, covering the longest distance of the  Yatra so far. He said that Congress respected all religions and all sections of people, as he stopped to interact with youth, women, old people, prominent figures of social and religious bodies, and even school children as the feeling he got during the four days of Yatra was that people were fed up with the deteriorating condition of the Capital, air and water pollution, garbage accumulation everywhere and deterioration of civic infrastructure, etc.

Shri Devender Yadav stopped to talk to cobbler to street vendors, to get first hand feedback about their difficulties, as the Aam Aadmi Party and  the BJP only fed them with false, hollow promises without doing anything for the welfare of the poor and the common people. He said that even the poorest of the poor were aware of Kejriwal’s corruption like the liquor scam, and how he misused the tax payers’ money for his own comforts and welfare by constructing a “Sheesh Mahal” to wallow in luxury, and the welfare of his corrupt associates like Manish Sisodia, Satyender Jain, Sanjay Singh and the corrupt MLAs of the ruling party who looted the money meant for the welfare of the people and development of the Capital.

Shri Devender Yadav said that people were in extreme difficulty as they were getting dirty water  through DJB pipelines or no water at all in many colonies, the  power distribution companies were fleecing the consumers by imposing various taxes on them,  air and water pollution as these problems have been persisting for the past 10 years despite the Kejriwal Government’s false claim of taking steps to solve such issues.

Shri Devender Yadav said that people now repose faith in the  Congress party to provide jobs to the unemployed, controlling price rise, issuing ration cards to the  poor as the Kejriwal Government had deliberately neglected the  lakhs of applications for new ration cards pending with the AAP Government for over 10 years.

Delhi Nyay Yatra receives overwhelming support from all sections of people—public fed up with BJP and AAP misrule, wants Congress back in power---Devender Yadav

NEW DELHI, November 9, 2024—Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Shri Devender Yadav, accompanied by senior Congress leaders and thousands of Congress workers, volunteers and local residents, started the second day of the Delhi Nyay Yatra from Jama Masjid, and passed through areas such as Chandni Chowk main market, Sadar Bazar, Azad Market before culminating at Bara Hindu Rao by covering nearly 25kms.

Shri Devender Yadav said that he was overwhelmed by the support of the people for the  Yatra throughout its route, as people now repose their hope in the Congress party to usher in a new era of progress and development in the Capital, and save them from the misrule and injustice of the  Kejriwal Government. He said that the aim of the Yatra was to get justice to the unemployed youth, women and the old aged, who have not received their pensions, lakhs of poor people who  have not been issued rations cards and other suffering citizens, as the Aam Aadmi Party and the BJP have done gross injustice to them through corruption and misrule over the past 10 years.

The highlight of the second day’s Nyay Yatra was Shri Devender Yadav’s visit to the Gauri Shankar Mandir, Sis Ganj Gurdwara, Jain Temple and the Central Baptist Church, all located in Chandni Chowk, after starting the Yatra from Gate No 1, Jama Masjid. The Nyay Yatra today covered the Assembly segments of Chandni Chowk, Sadar, Karol Bagh, Rajinder Nagar and Patel Nagar.

Shri Devender Yadav said that over the past 10 years, former CM Kejriwal, CM Atishi and other AAP leaders told lies to the people to mislead them without fulfilling any of the lofty promises Kejriwal had made before he got drunk on power, to be eventually caught out in the corrupt liquor policy, which had ruined the lives of lakhs of unemployed youth in the Capital. He said that when Congress workers and leaders interacted with the local people during the Yatra, they received a litany of complaints like people getting dirty water or not getting water  through the DJB pipes, accumulated garbage everywhere as the MCD vans rarely come to lift the filth, water logging and mishaps during  monsoon, air pollution and traffic congestion and other such problems. He said that while people suffered, Kejriwal and his associates in the Aam Aadmi Party and Government prospered and fattened their pockets by implementing the corrupt liquor policy, construction of class rooms and other such deals.

Shri Devender Yadav said that it was poetic justice that the disillusioned volunteers of AAP have deserted the party,  forcing Kejriwal to appeal to AAP volunteers, if any, in  other States to come and campaign for the AAP at their own expenses in the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections, as Kejriwal was staring at a certain defeat. He said that   with people desiring a Congress  comeback to power, it  will reverse the injustice done to them by Kejriwal, whose luxurious lifestyle in a Sheesh Mahal, renovated at a staggering cost of Rs 75 crore of tax payers’ money, stunned the common people, who had elected the AAP to power expecting a transparent and honest government, but what they got in return was corruption and misrule.

The farmers committing suicide over DAP fertilizer is a shame for the government:-Kumari Selja

Kumari Selja Expresses Condolences at the home of the farmer who committed suicide in Village Bhiwkewala

:-The BJP Government is mentally and financially harassing farmers:- Kumari Selja

Chandigarh / 9th, November

The General Secretary of the All India Congress Committee, former Union Minister, and MP from Sirsa, Kumari Selja said that there could be nothing more shameful for the government than a farmer committing suicide over fertilizer, seeds, or pesticides. Farmers are crying out for fertilizer, yet the administration claims there is no shortage. If there is no shortage, then why are farmers unable to access it, leading to such despair that they resort to suicide? The government must change its perspective and policies toward farmers. Farmers are the providers of food for the nation, and their honor and needs should be prioritized. MP Kumari Selja visited the family of Ram Bhagat, a farmer from village Bhikhewala in the Uklana Mandi area who committed suicide, to offer condolences. She expressed her sympathy to the family and said that the government must seriously address the issue of farmers taking such extreme steps for fertilizer, as nothing is more important than a farmer's life. The government should take actions to prevent farmers from feeling forced into such desperate measures. Kumari Selja said the need for inspection of warehouses and stocks of fertilizer sellers. If any seller hoards DAP or urea and refuses to sell to farmers, strict action should be taken against them.

She said that while farmers are committing suicide over DAP fertilizer shortages, CM Naib Saini claims there is no shortage in the state. She questioned why the government can detect stubble burning from satellites but fails to notice the long lines of farmers waiting for fertilizer. If there is enough fertilizer, why isn’t it reaching the farmers, and who is selling DAP at black market rates? It is unfortunate that a farmer in Uklana had to take his own life due to the unavailability of fertilizer.
